2016 update

Well, grandchildren are 1 and 3 yrs old and I'm posting again. Needless to say they have taken priority over posting :)   Just wanted to put some quilting updates as to what's gone on last year. As you see it's been all about babies for the most part.
This is a pattern called Birch Trees and done together with several friends from Southern Comforter's Quilt Guild as a swap.  I donated this to our Quilt Bingo held in October.
My coworker's baby shower gift.  Another whale theme so I got to use my whale stencil for the quilting again.  Made a little dresser basket with the scraps.
For my adorable grandson's Christening.  Love this romper pattern and the matching Tom's shoes.
He looked so sweet in this outfit.  I actually made it in a plaid as well for the summer.
My dear friend's daughter's shower.  They love their Irish roots and so I quilted this with shamrocks, trinity knots and different Celtic symbols.
My son-in-law's brother and wife (Big Penn State Fans) had a baby boy.  Navy and Grey were the nursery colors.  In addition to logo appliques I quilted in some more paws.  They loved it!
My Birthday gift from my dear friend.... she knows me well.  Love this.  It's the sweetest!
Made this cutie for my granddaughter. I used nice wool felt.  Next one I'll use different yarn for hair.
My son-in-law's parents just bought a beach house in Myrtle Beach.   I made this McKenna Ryan piece as a house warming gift.
For my daughter's dear friend's baby girl.  Nursery in coral and aqua.  Pattern is French Roses.

Well that about wraps up 2016 and I'll post again and you can see what I've been up to for the first 6 months of 2017. :)  Thanks for stopping by....

Sew Grateful!!

Wendy
